Host run club
Runners Alliance
Our home run club in Ghana, leading the Diaspora Run on the ground in Accra.
Accra, Ghana · March 3 to 14, 2027
Return to the Crown is a 12-day heal out loud production & immersive experience in the Motherland, where descendants of Africa gather to heal ancestral grief, reclaim community, and rebuild the village. Some stories will be shared. Others will stay sacred.
What you will be part of
One Village, twelve days together. Join the conversations, live performances, wellness experiences, and shared moments that bring the Five Returns to life.
The full program is shared with selected participants.
For our partners
Healing, heritage, and hip-hop meet in person, then reach others through the conversation and five experience episodes.
Each of the 5 Returns is a production day that is part of our video series. We chose to heal out loud on camera so we can have modeled behavior that we may not have gotten growing up in our homes.
Cohort I · March 3 to 14
In this cohort, we're focusing on the emotions within grief. The person you lost, the relationship that ended, the job that closed, the future that never came. We return to the Motherland, as its descendants, to give that love another place to live.

Apply for your seatWhy we heal out loud
Many of us grew up without examples of how to feel, name, and care for our emotions. Our households did what they could with what they had. Return to the Crown is filmed so our people can see it modeled: grief held with care, hard conversations had with love, and mental health treated as part of how we live. When you heal out loud, you become the example someone else never had.
Every participant is part of the production and signs a release to be filmed.
Your hosts
The voices from the conversation and our artists aren't just leading this. They're walking it with you.

Questions
Our team reviews every application for readiness and fit, then invites selected applicants to a discovery call. Selection is rolling, so earlier applications are reviewed first.
The five Returns are filmed and become Return to the Crown episodes. Facilitators hold every filmed moment, and some sacred spaces are never filmed.
Many of us never saw healthy ways to handle grief and emotions growing up. Filming lets our healing become a living example for others.
Participants stay at our partner residence near House of Nia, or choose Experience Only if they have their own place.
No. Every kind of loss is welcome here.
Yes. Being filmed is part of the experience. Every participant signs a release to take part in the taping, because the purpose is to model healing for people who never saw it at home.
