Cohort I: Love With Nowhere to Go · March 3 to 14, 2027
Twelve days in Ghana, hosted by the voices from the conversation. Five of those days are film days, where we heal out loud on camera.
Why we heal out loud
Many of us grew up without examples of how to feel, name, and care for our emotions. Our households did what they could with what they had. Return to the Crown is filmed so our people can see it modeled: grief held with care, hard conversations had with love, and mental health treated as part of how we live. When you heal out loud, you become the example someone else never had.
Every participant is part of the production and signs a release to be filmed.
One cohort
Fifteen of us, moving through every Return together, from Cape Coast to the closing circle.
The 12 days
Arrive ·Ground ·Discover ·Reflect ·Care ·Express ·Rest ·Move ·Recover ·Open ·Close ·Return
This is the planned flow. The full program is shared with selected participants.
Land, settle, exhale.
Arrive in body, not just in place.
Grieving a job, a career, or an opportunity.
Some grief did not start with us.
Caring for yourself is part of healing.
What has no words yet can still be expressed.
Let it land.
Grief lives in the body. So does healing.
Rest is part of the work.
Time that belongs to you.
Give your love a new place to live.
We were never meant to heal alone.
Building the Village together
Wellness and run communities are part of the experience, not names beside it. Meet the partners moving with the Village.

Day 3 · Friday, March 5
Return to the Crown Live: Change the Narrative
On day three, the cohort steps into the conversation shaping Africa's future. Change the Narrative is a filmed conversation on Africa and AI, with executives and thought leaders on stage and the cohort in the live audience.
AI is already changing the world. But who gets to decide what that change looks like for Africa?
Who gets to build the future?
Who owns the future?
Who gets to shape what's next?
Facilitators hold every filmed moment. If you need a moment, we pause and take care of you first.

Questions
Our team reviews every application for readiness and fit, then invites selected applicants to a discovery call. Selection is rolling, so earlier applications are reviewed first.
The five Returns are filmed and become Return to the Crown episodes. Facilitators hold every filmed moment, and some sacred spaces are never filmed.
Many of us never saw healthy ways to handle grief and emotions growing up. Filming lets our healing become a living example for others.
Participants stay at our partner residence near House of Nia, or choose Experience Only if they have their own place.
